Home to roost

At this point, everyone should be familiar with “the chicks”. While they served their purpose and led to some amazing pictures, we just aren’t meant to have farm animals in the suburbs.

Thankfully, the Lawson’s agreed to give our baby chicks a good home.

Blake, Maddie, and I made a short trip to the farm a couple of weekends ago to let the chicks start their new lives. We spent the afternoon roaming the farm and enjoying the wonderful hospitality of Lonnie and Phyllis. We were told to come visit them any time we like, which I’m sure we’ll do as the children became VERY attached to the chicks.

Here’s a few pics I snapped from the afternoon.
